INTERNET ENGINEERING REQUIREMENTS led by Joe Andrieu.  "In the second of a four part series, the group will explore how Business Requirements fit into the planning for a successful Internet project. How does one identify and document the needs and success criteria as they relate to the business functions of the company? Marketing, financial, fulfillment, customer support, legal, etc., all of these must be addressed for a fully defined Internet initiative. Uniquely separate from Technology and Design requirements, Business Requirements ensure that the project, once built, will in fact serve the company and improve the bottom line.

JAVA SERVLETS DEMO led by James Pitts. James writes: "Yes, Java can do more than annoy us with choppy animations and endless coffee analogies. Server-side Java applets have been around for a while, but Servlets are now a standard part of Sun's Java. You can hook them up to databases and make cool web apps such as a bulletin board. We will look at some Servlets in action and discuss whether this is an effective way to make dynamic web sites without causing the developer to lose too much sleep."
